How our sample program works

Finishes photograph one way and live another — lighting, sightlines, and neighboring colors all change how a tin ceiling reads. That's why we cut real samples from real production tiles rather than printing color cards. Sample Color Packs are 6" × 6" swatches cut from full tiles — choose the colors you're considering, from a handful to the complete range — and they ship free. Pattern Samples are full 24" × 24" unfinished tiles, so you can judge a pattern's true depth and relief in place; they ship for a flat $5 (up to five tiles).

How to evaluate a sample

Tape color swatches to the ceiling or wall where the tile will actually live, and look at them in morning, afternoon, and evening light — finishes shift dramatically between daylight and warm lamps. For pattern samples, hold the tile overhead at arm's length: relief that looks subtle in hand reads far stronger at ceiling distance.

Found the one? Every pattern in our tile collection is available in the finishes you sampled, nail-up or drop-in. Order your full quantity (plus cutting overage) in one order — best practice for any ceiling project. And if a hand-finished clearance swatch caught your eye, move quickly: those colorways are discontinued and available only while supplies last.
